All of the Be Amazing Brand "Eye Spy" Bag Games are well made, durable, and educational. The Numbers and Counting version uses the theme of finding objects and matching numbers with those objects. (A wild animal with 0 stripes, a dinosaur with 1 tail, a bunny with 2 ears, a triangle with 3 sides, a dragonfly with 4 wings, a star with 5 points, a snowflake with 6 sides, a dice with 7 dots, a spider with 8 legs, a string of 9 beads, a coin worth 10 points). There are 40 objects to find. The attached laminated tag has the above list and then a second, telling you to be creative and see how many ways you can count and match numbers with another 30 items (crab, ant, binoculars, trophy...). The objects include a wonderful range, as you can see. The outer pouch is made of a super soft fleece with a square vinyl window and just shifting the "beanbag" to look for items is a pleasure. (The outer design differs from the picture because their colors and patterns always vary but the fabric is always that wonderful soft fleece...) This game is fun for any child who can sit still long enough to help look for an object or two at a time. You can make it more challenging for older kids by making a race out of finding the most objects the fastest. It's not only educational but fun and you can tuck it in your purse. It's handy to have in a waiting room, at a picnic or party, in the car, on a bus or train, or anywhere you have a few minutes to spare and a child who is bored. (They are perfect for kids who like tactile, hands-on games and objects). These Eye Spy Bags are great for homeschooling groups, too. Be Amazing makes them affordable and puts lots of objects in them so you really get your money's worth.

I keep a couple of eye-spy bags around as gifts for little ones. It is good to get kids working on colors, objects, sentences. (I spy something RED and have the kid point it out), Or I spy a _____ and have kid point out, etc. My educator friends love these and were suprised when my 1 year old used it as well as my 7 year old nephew. Good deal for all kids. Durable too, cleans up pretty good.
