5A game for all ages...  Apr 18, 2009 By Kefi
The Original Eye Spy Bag by Be Amazing has 50 objects to find which are hidden among the beads in this soft fleece pouch. The attached laminated hang tag has the list so you can refer to it as you go or come back to it if you search for the items in spurts, whenever you have a few minutes. This is a perfect game for children in waiting rooms or in the car or on a bus. It keeps them entertained and busy so they don't get bored. The objects range from a zebra to a brush, from teeth to a puzzle and they aren't gender specific so both boys and girls can have fun with it. It's ideal for children who prefer tactile games and it's a pleasure to play, just holding the pouch and shifting the beads, searching for the hidden items. For younger ones, you can help them find the objects or prompt them when you spot them. For older ones, time can be included as a factor. The one who finds the most objects the fastest wins. It's a handy, adaptable game and it isn't "babyish" at all. The quality of this toy is really nice. The fabric is super soft and stitched securely. And the price here on Amazon is lower than most educational toy stores' prices for the same item.

5Keeps them busy!  Sep 07, 2011 By Serena Smith
I am so happy I found the Eye Spy Bag on Amazon. My kids love it so much that we now give them as birthday gifts. My daughter (4 years old) loves looking for the different objects and feels so proud when she finds each one. She can't read so I look at the list and give her something to look for one at a time. We bring this on road trips which has been great! Even my 2 year-old loves looking. With her, I pick something that is easier to find so she doesn't get frustrated looking. I highly recommend this!

4I like it more than my kid does  Jan 12, 2012 By beccalouisey
She is 18 months and she hasn't really played with it. I think when she gets a little older that will change. I had quite a challenge the other day when I found some time alone and tried to find everything myself. It probably took half an hour. The only thing I don't like is one of the toys (not sure which) inside is kind of deteriorating and putting out these red flecks that get stuck to the vinyl window. I also think more little white beads would be nice to make it a little fuller. I am considering opening it and taking the toys out and sewing my own container for them with a bigger clear vinyl window and some oilcloth for the backing. Also might use dry rice as the filler so I can add a little more. I started out wanting to make one before I even found this toy, but the little toys inside are really hard to collect and buy. You need at least 30 different small toys. This toy would be worth it just for the supplies to remake it your own way. But on the whole, it is a good toy without remaking it.

5A must-have for the parents of toddlers & preschoolers!  May 14, 2011 By DrusL8yK
This is a hit with our 2 boys, 5 and 2.5! There's nothing to not like about this one! It doesn't make noise, there's only one piece, and there's enough in the bag to entertain and get creative with the Eye Spy. We can tell our 2 year old to find particular colored objects, animals, and shapes. While with our 5 year old, we can make it more challenging and tell him to find themed objects, particular numbers of things...just getting creative! This bag is big I must say! I thought it'd be a lot smaller. It's about the size of a sandwich bag filled with beads, so it doesn't fit in the diaper bag as well as some other "distractions" we carry. We keep this in the seatback of our van and pull it out for longer car rides, travelling, eating out at restaurants and shopping. I wouldn't recommend trying to carry this in a traditional bag all the time. A bookbag maybe? We do have 1 gripe about this though; we really wish the card with the list of objects on it was made out of something sturdier than laminated cardstock. It wasn't long before the constant movement on the string caused the small hole to tear. So now the we have to keep track of the card or I'm gonna have to get some type of special bag to keep the bag and card together. It's a pain when we're riding and one of the kids drop the card! I'm sure I can think of something to get it back on the string, but who wants to do that?
