 Inexpensive "chew toy" to use for oral sensory needs Mar 17, 2012

My 9yo son has sensory issues and has recently felt the need to chew on things. I am unable to give him gum, due to several caps on his teeth. So, instead of him putting unsafe items into his mouth, I decided to purchase this chewy tube for him to use. He mostly uses it during our school time (we do school at home), or while riding in the car. It has fulfilled his need to have something in his mouth, and has helped keep him less distracted.

My daughter is very oral and puts everything in her mouth. She loves to chew and this product works very well for her. It is strong enough not to break under her strong teeth. But it also has some give to it so she actually works her jaw a bit while chewing. I have ordered several of these.

This is not a toy for us, but rather a therapy tool. Seems to be durable, although we have only used it a few weeks. Item is as described. Super quick shipping, great communication. Good company to purchase from. Thank you.
