Children understand the value of Wh questions when events are broken down into structured questions. These question sequences helps the child to answer questions in context. Each question sequence contains a "Where, Why, What, Who and When" question. "Where do you see a movie?" "In a movie theater", is just a piece of arbitrary information. Putting questions into sequence gives meaning to the questions and helps the child understand an event. You can see a movie in a movie theater, you go to the concession stand to buy snacks, you can buy popcorn, you give your ticket to the usher before you see the movie, and you sit in a chair to watch the movie.
