Great Pencils...Outstanding Customer Service Nov 25, 2010

I was disappointed when I discovered one of the pencils in the box was split from end to end, when I opened the box. When I contacted Faber Castell, they went above and beyond with their prompt replacement and generous inclusion of extras for my son, the intended recipient of these gorgeous pencils. The colrs are vibrant, the triangular shape pleasing to hold for toddlers and adults alike, and the animals on each pencil are adorable. The pencil quality is superb; very easy to draw with.

I purchased these for my 3 year old daughter as a holiday gift. I almost didn't buy these because I thought they were to expensive for my three year old because she tears through her crayons and markers. I also had no prior experience with this brand of colored pencils but was won over by the other customer reviews. They were right! These are very kid friendly. They are easy to hold, don't roll away and my tot can even sharpen them by herself. The colored pencils I received were not the natural wood finish, like the ones shown, but were white. Each pencil had a different image printed on them to help with color recognition (the purple pencil had purple grapes on it and the black had a black cat...etc.) There was even a place for you to write your child's name on them. I am very pleased with the color quality and over all design of this product. I would highly recommend these colored pencils to anyone, especially if you have a child who is a little to tough on things, like mine.

These pencils are fantastic for little hands. Their triangular shape encourages the proper tripod finger position for holding a pencil. The colors are vivid, and the pencils have a good feel on paper. We received them as a gift a few years ago, and use them all the time!

These are the ones all the kids reach for when we're coloring - much softer and much better color than typical long, thin colored pencils.
