I really like that these toys have personalities and do not all have the same feelings included with them. Each Kimochi has a book to discuss feelings and how to work with your child about talking about feelings. I think this is a great concept and will use it when I work with kids in a counseling session.

I got 3 of these for Christmas gifts for my nieces, 2 adopted and one now living with grandparents. We got the Cloud, the bug and the octopus after reading the story of each they fit the girls perfectly. The kids love them and they are so helpful when talking about feelings and how they work or should.

I wasn't sure how my kids would react or respond to this toy. To my surprise, they couldn't get enough. The Kimochi's are very cute, and my kids learned all about emotions from Kimochi's. My kids love cuddling with the Kimochi's and they act out with the characters. Definitely the best plush toy I've ever bought for my kids.

I purchased this toy as a training tool for group dynamics programs. In addition to being a solid tool for those programs it was a hit with my two nieces, ages 2 and 5. The emotion toys that come with the Kimochis Huggtopus work well when helping young children identify emotions. Silly and frustrated are the two favorites at our house!

These plush toys are cute, yet seem like a direct blending of Hello Kitty and a large helping from the Mr. Men feelings characters. The Mr. Men animation show did not catch on much; nor did the plush toys. I think the educational values boasted by the description of Kimochi's may be overstated. Good parenting during teachable moments in life produces the desired affect and can be used in imaginative play with any toy, a sock, or representative object with equal entertainment value... that's what imagination is -- and it's free.
