I liked that these pieces were sturdy, heavy, and thick wood. I do wish that they were painted on both sides. When I opened this, there was fine wood dust on everything.

my daughter two years old love to play with it and its always a fun for her to put the blocks at right place. I will highly recommend this to younger kids.

my daughter loves playing with this and other M&D puzzles. She can match the shapes as we try to teach her the letters. Once she starts she wants to finish the puzzle completely ( which means we go on a hunt for all the pieces ).

I bought this item for my 4 year old daughter. She is trying to learn her letters. This puzzle helps to teach letter recognition; however, I must admit this item isn't as interesting for my daughter as some other teaching aids. Your best bet is to flip the letters on to the floor and have your child pick them up and tell you what the letters/sounds are as they put the puzzle back together.

I bought this puzzle for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Its really colorful and it has helped her tremendously learn her A B C's.
