1Totally worthless!  Apr 27, 2011 By KO
The product description of this book leads one to think that it somehow would explain how neurofeedback techniques are used to address the issues listed (anxiety, depression, etc). However, you would be wrong in that interpretation. Essentially the book is an extended advertisement for the her (and her colleague's) other products and services. Each chapter can be summarized as the following:

"Will neurofeedback help with ___________?"

"Why yes! It will and it does so much better than any other treatment on the planet! Call your local neurofeedback specialist and spend thousands of dollars to find out just how wonderful it works!!!!"

This book was not worth the $0.99 it cost to get by Kindle. The author should be paying people to read her promotional information rather than the other way around.

4neurofeedback  Sep 27, 2010 By Pamela Moore
This is a book that covers every aspect of neurofeedback application for a variety of disorders and successful treatments. This is a fascinating growing field and the book offers practical information on the history, theoretical concerns, including training suggestions and specific treatment procedures. Every chapter is simply written and makes for easy reading and is presented in a way that explains most questions consumers may have, before they would want to test the waters. I am glad to have read this book that took less than a day to gain priceless new knowledge.

5An Excellent Book!!  May 30, 2011 By Gracie P Garrett
This book effectively addresses the many areas that brain biofeedback is effective in treating. It is perfect for the layman such as myself who needs a clear, concise and easy to read handbook addressing what is often a very complex and scientific subject. Dr Clare Albright uses her amazing humor, professional experience and good communication skills to describe what neurofeedback, a drug-free therapy, can do for those suffering from anxiety, ADD, autism, migraines and depression. The insights and practical tips are invaluable. it is a very enjoyable read!
