Great for special needs class Sep 22, 2011
By Bridget I teach high school students on the Autism Spectrum and this has been a great resource for my class. I bought a class set for each student and have found this very helpful for them. The book speaks their language and has a variety of ways to get the point across. It has vocab, stories, charts, and experiments to help drive home the point. The kids also enjoy the cartoons to look at while reading. I highly recommend this to any teacher who has been struggling to find ways to to get the importance of personal hygiene across.

same old stuff May 10, 2008
By Lisa This pretty much ended up reading in the same way we've been harping on this stuff for a while. Nothing really stood out to my son. However, if you haven't been a "harper", it might help you out.
