5This one's a keeper  Sep 20, 2009 By Line "May"
This set far exceeded my expectations. The photos are really clear and it's easy to see the emotions which is a hard skill to learn when you're teaching a child with social issues. The writing on the back of the cards is a really good idea and it helped my child learn. I also like the way the ring can be opened because you can re-order the cards or just keep a few on the ring at a time so it's not overwhelming to a child if he thinks he's going to have to flip through so many cards.

4emotion expression  Sep 08, 2008 By Crystaldeals
These cards are so colorful. I wonder how they got the kids to pose for such bizzare emotions: ie.:dismayed,elated. Overall, a great investment, but caution, many emotions listed are well beyond the comprehension of an adult let alone a child with learning delays. It may be difficult to use several of the cards due to the complex titling of particuar emotions. Who knew there were so many levels of happy, angry and sad!.

5variety  Feb 02, 2012 By J. Mortensen
I was looking for a good set of pictures that show faces and emotions. This has quite a lot of variety. They are realistic faces and are pretty easy to guess the emotion. Wonderful product to help children understand emotions.

5I love this item  Sep 16, 2009 By customer "Twister"
I have this set and it's one of my personal favorites. I find that it's easy for children to really grasp what the emotions are - probably because on the back of each card there's a situation of what would could make them feel that way. Really great photo quality - very realistic.

5this is not really a toy  Jul 06, 2009 By Nicole L. Mcdonough "pixievixen"
The understanding emotions flip book is not really a toy-but a very educational tool, for ether young children and/or children with developmental disorders, like PDD/NOS or Asperger syndrome who find it difficult to impossible to figure out what emotions go with a facial expression. this book has real pictures, almost all of children with many different emotions, then the emotion is printed on the back, with examples of why someone mite feel that way, but in simple easy to understand ways-I really like this book,I bought it because my child has PDD/NOS,once we even popped it off it's ring and set them pictures up and let him try and guess what they were feeling by looking at their faces-then we would flip and read to see if he got it right-it's a very good tool(book)very durable, I recommend it!
